None of the annual budget allocation from DCPS to operate Fillmore covers supplies, instruments, events expenses, or visiting artists and cultural excursions. So we rely on donations to keep the creativity flowing! Also, we use a portion of our donated funds to provide Summer Camp scholarships each year to local students.
The Friends of Fillmore appreciates and accepts a variety of donations.
- You can donate directly using the Donation Button below
- Since most of our donations go to supplies, you can make an in-kind donation. Please take a look at our teachers’ Wish List for this school year
- You can buy something else and let that company give us a donation. We had a Dining Day with HomeMade Pizza on Oct. 18th, 2011 and plan to have another one in the Spring.
- Until April 22nd, 2012 if you change to wind power with Clean Currents, they will make a $25 to the Friends of Fillmore. (The donation IS DOUBLED to $50 until December 14, 2011, so SIGN UP TODAY!)
